Born and raised in Melbourne, Mattias grew up in a home filled with music and began violin lessons at the age of four. With over 15 years of experience on the violin — and more than a decade on piano — music has become both his passion and his craft. He finds genuine joy in sharing it with others, especially through live performance at events of all kinds.

Classically trained, Mattias spent his early years leading and performing with orchestras and ensembles both at school and also in his local church, whilst achieving top results in music exams and earning a near-perfect score for Year 12 Music — a testament to his commitment to excellence.

He’s since had the pleasure of performing at weddings, private functions, religious services, and large-scale events, including preludes to keynote speakers. Whether it’s an intimate, tear-filled ceremony or a joyful celebration, Mattias always tailors his music to enhance the emotion and energy of each moment.

Now based in Brisbane while studying at the University of Queensland, Mattias embraces the sunshine lifestyle. Outside of music, he loves the outdoors, travelling, spending time with friends, and sharing a good laugh — and he’ll rarely say no to a swim or a run in the sun.
